SOS Audit Reveals 3,000 Potential Non-Citizens Registered in Harris County – KFI AM 640

The Texas Secretary of State’s audit of 2020 elections in four of the largest counties found nearly 12,000 potential non-citizens registered to vote, with roughly three thousand here in Harris County.

While there wasn’t much evidence of swaying elections one way or another, auditors did find and remove more than 200,000 deceased voters, and nearly 450,000 duplicate registrations.

“If you don’t keep on top of it, very quickly your voter lists become clogged with dead wood that can be abused and can be the raw material of election fraud,” says Chuck DeVore at the Texas Public Policy Foundation.

He says Democrats are now pushing to ‘California’ our entire voting process.

“An outlawing of voter ID. A system when voters say they are a citizen, that’s good enough. There’s no actual citizenship checks in California.”

DeVore says the biggest threat to our elections remains universal mail-in ballots.

“With increased use in mail-in ballots, you might find the same techniques that are used to win low-turnout primary elections can be applied statewide,” he says. “And will begin to be more extensively used to shift election results from what they should be.”
