Female found dead at homeless encampment in west Harris County – Houston Chronicle

A female found dead Saturday at a homeless encampment in west Harris County had apparent signs of trauma, authorities said.

Sheriff’s deputies discovered the female, who was not immediately identified, when they responded to a call for service in the area of Clay Road and the Grand Parkway, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. Investigators were responding to the scene Saturday evening.
